Advisor
Anastasiya is a seasoned legal professional and Partner at a leading New Zealand law firm, Simpson Grierson. With extensive experience in mergers and acquisition, corporate governance, overseas investment, joint ventures, and complex commercial arrangements, Anastasiya brings valuable expertise to her clients and is deeply committed to humanitarian efforts in her role as a co-founder of Mahi for Ukraine

Ailish Dodd
Coordinator
Ailish is an International Trade and Engagement Officer at the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, where she works closely with exporters, business leaders, and international partners to support global trade connections. With a background in International Business and International Relations, and a minor in Spanish, Ailish brings strong cross-cultural awareness, strategic communication skills, and a passion for fostering meaningful international relationships.

Rouben Azizian
Vice-President, Co-Founder
Rouben is a distinguished academic and former director of Massey University’s Centre for Defence and Security Studies. He is also the Chair of the Auckland Branch of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs. Rouben has significant diplomatic and academic experience and extensive connections with government officials as well as public and business figures in New Zealand, across the Asia-Pacific and former Soviet republics. He brings invaluable insights and offers unique expertise in promoting NZUBA’s role, outreach and activities.

Olga Dodd
Treasurer, Co-Founder
Olga is an experienced finance professional and academic, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Finance and Director of the Auckland Centre for Financial Research at Auckland University of Technology. With over 15 years of experience in finance academia and an eight-year tenure in the Ukrainian financial sector, she brings valuable insight and expertise to NZUBA as Co-Founder and Treasurer.
